Actor Arjan Bajwa stunned fans when he confessed, he never intended to join the film industry. Known for box-office hits such asFashion, Crook, Son of Sardar, Bobby Jasoos, Rustom, and Kabir Singh, he admitted that architecture and aviation held his primary interests before fatesteered him into acting. “I studied architecture and was about to start training to become a pilot, which was always my top priority,” he said. “During my college days, I took up modelling as a hobby. While I was doing that, I got a break in Telugu films, and the rest is history.”
Arjun explained he considered aviation his lifelong dream. “Even now, I fly as a hobby and stay immersed in everything related to aviation. It’s still very much part of my life, and I see it as an alternative career option.” Yet he found success in acting and never looked back,embracing diverse roles in over 26 films for more than two decades. He will soon make his international debut in Demon Hunters, a Taiwanese film. He emphasised he’ll always choose quality over quantity. “My ambition stayed strong to do the best work and be associated with top talent. I got the chance to work with stalwarts like Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Esha Deol,and directors like Mani Ratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Mohit Suri.”
Arjun added he wants to explore more action, romance, and historical epics. “I would love to play a warrior in a historical film. I also look forward to more patriotic and nationalistic roles as defence personnel.”
Despite his entrepreneurial pursuits, he promised not to abandon acting. “Once an actor, always an actor. I will keep going as long as the offers keep coming and I can deliver on screen.”
