The Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) hosted a soul-stirring and power-packed evening on Sunday, May 25, with ‘Amit Trivedi Live! – Music For a Cause’, a special fundraising concert held at the Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium, Sion East, Mumbai. The event marked World No Tobacco Day with a strong message “Choose Life, Not Tobacco”—while raising crucial funds for the treatment and rehabilitation of underprivileged cancer patients.
Renowned singer and music composer Amit Trivedi captivated the audience with an unforgettable performance featuring all his fan-favorite numbers. From energetic anthems to soulful melodies, Trivedi delivered a musical journey that had the packed auditorium swaying, cheering, and singing along. His heartfelt engagement with the cause and the audience added a special touch to the evening.
In a special moment of appreciation, Alka Sapru, CEO of CPAA, along with Anita Peter, Executive Director, CPAA, felicitated Amit Trivedi on stage for his generous contribution to the cause and his commitment to creating awareness about the dangers of tobacco use.

Its awareness programs reach thousands annually, highlighting the alarming statistic that nearly 35% of individuals screened show early signs of tobacco-related oral cancer.
