In spite of his newfound fame and stardom, the young actor decided to venture out without any entourage or heavy security, shocking many fans and bystanders with his humility.
Superstar turned streetwalker — no airs, plenty of smiles
Ahaan stopped by in a simple white T-shirt, joggers, and sneakers at one of Bandra’s most popular neighborhood juice stalls, mindlessly chatting with the vendor and having a fresh orange juice on the go. Nobody stopped him as he walked in; the onlookers noticed his laid-back nature immediately, and a few fans asked for selfies — all of which he happily agreed to with a huge smile and no trace of star ego.
His endearing encounter with a young street child — where he stopped to talk and tousle the boy’s hair before giving him a chocolate bar — is now trending on social media with his being labeled as “Bollywood’s most down-to-earth new star.”
Internet responds to Ahaan’s lone walk
Clips and pictures of Ahaan’s evening outing were innumerable on Instagram and X, formerly Twitter, with users calling him the “definition of stardom with humility.” Someone commented, “He is just not a superstar on the screen, but is gold-hearted off it as well.” Another of them said, “In a world of celebrity tantrums, Ahaan Panday is refreshing.
The impromptu stroll also drew comparisons to his uncle Chunky Panday and cousin Ananya Panday, with people on the internet liking the “laidback” feel of the family.
‘Saiyaara’ success doesn’t go to his head
Ahaan Panday has been in the limelight since his debut film Saiyaara, which starred him opposite Aneet Padda, went on to become a sensational box office hit, breaking records and becoming one of Yash Raj Films’ highest-grossing ventures. But for all the overnight stardom, Ahaan appears adamant about being grounded.
People close to the actor have confirmed that he deliberately leaves some days untouched by shooting or brand commitments so he can “stay connected with the city and its people.”
