“Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.”
~William Jennings Bryan
Time to time, winds chime, storms hit, forests grow barren and desert bears fruit. Similarly, we, as people of the Human Race, have both the seed of Buddhic Consciousness and Devil Instinct in us.
Buddhic Consciousness means consciousness that we are all children of God. We are not body, mind, thoughts or emotions. Whereas we also have Devil Instinct, which means we are very selfish in nature and can go to lengths to keep ourselves safe, secure, and comfortable. It is always the way we choose to live and how evolved we are to embrace which side of the soul.
There are people we meet whose aura radiates light, love and positivity. And there are also people who upon encountering will take away your inner light and make you feel negative and tortured.
But the wonderful part lies in the Choice. Both have both. It is what they choose, is what they become.
Buddha said “The mind is everything. What you think, you become.”
So, this means we can all cultivate Buddhic Consciousness, if we want. And the path begins from Body, then comes Mind and Emotions and then comes energy.
In the body, we have to focus on eating right i.e fresh fruits and vegetables, breathing properly i.e like children and animals from the abdominal, and exercising in sufficient amounts
When it comes to Mind and Emotions, it takes some time to gain mastery. But likewise everything in this world depends on free will. If there is choice and commitment with free will, it is bound to happen. So, it can be attained through guidance of a mentor and daily practice of meditation and character building.
Remember, the eight Sutras of Yoga:
- Ahimsa (Non-Violence)
- Satya (Truthfulness)
- Asteya (Non-Stealing)
- Brahmacharya (Celibacy)
- Aparigraha (Non-Coveting)
- Saucha (Purification)
- Santosa (Contentment)
- Tapas (Asceticism)
When these three areas are balanced and mastered, then the path for limitless energy is provided.
