The Samjhauta Express is the train between India & Pakistan, it is named after the Hindi word for “agreement”, comprises six sleeper coaches and an AC 3-tier coach. The train service was started on July 22, 1976 under the Simla Agreement that settled the 1971 war between the two nations.

The Gāyatrī Mantra, also known as the Sāvitri Mantra, The Gāyatrī mantra is dedicated to Savitṛ, a Vedic Sun deity.
It is a highly revered mantra from the Rig Veda. It was Brahmarshi Vishvamitra, who spread the Gayatri Mantra.

तत् सवितुर्वरेण्यं
भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि
धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्
Meaning :
O Divine mother, our hearts are filled with darkness. Please make this darkness distant from us and promote illumination within us.
