Good Governance Week

Good Governance week was observed in India from 19th to 25th December 2022.

The 25th of December was celebrated as ‘Good Governance Day’ commemorating the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Shri A B Vajpayee.

A union minister launched a few initiatives in the Good Governance week like the e-HRMS 2.0 Portal and the Mobile application of iGoT Karmayogi Portal to provide continuous training at multiple levels to all Government officers in order to attain effective governance in India.

The revamped e-HRMS 2.0 Portal will provide various services in a digital mode to the Government employees like Transfers, Annual Performance Appraisal Reports, Deputation, Immovable Property Returns, iGOT training, Vigilance Staus, Service Book, and other basic HR services like Leave, Tour, Reimbursements, etc.

The minister also launched the Mobile application of iGoT Karmayogi Portal which will provide professional, well-trained, and future-ready civil service for India. The platform will allow also all government servants at multiple levels to undergo continuous training depending on their domain of the app which will contribute to enriched human resources.

The app and the platform will provide anytime anywhere any device services to train about two crore users which was earlier not achievable through traditional measures.

Revamped Probity Portal was also launched on good governance day. It allows capturing of real-time information sending a clear signal that non-performance and inefficiency of Government employees will not be tolerated and that integrity and probability are expected from every government servant.
