🇮🇳 FACTS ABOUT INDIA 🇮🇳

The iron pillar of Delhi is a structure 23 feet 8 inches (7.21 metres) high with a 16-inch (41 cm) diameter that was constructed by Chandragupta II (reigned c. 375–415 CE), and now stands in the Qutb complex.

It is famous for the rust-resistant composition of the metals used in its construction. The pillar weighs over three tonnes (6,614 lb) and is thought to have been erected elsewhere, perhaps outside the Udayagiri Caves, and moved to its present location by Anangpal Tomar in 11th century

🛕 VEDIK GYAN

Matsya is the fish avatar of lord Vishnu. Often described as the first of Vishnu’s ten primary avatars, Matsya is described to have rescued the first man Manu from a great deluge. Matsya may be depicted as a giant fish.
Manu (“man”), the first man and progenitor of humanity, appears in the Rigveda.

प्रदोषे दीपकश्चंद्र: प्रभाते दीपको रवि:।

त्रैलोक्ये दीपको धर्म: सुपुत्र: कुलदीपक:॥

pradōṣē dīpakaścaṃdra: prabhātē dīpakō ravi:।
trailōkyē dīpakō dharma: suputra: kuladīpaka:॥

Meaning: Moon illumines the evening. Sun illumines the morning. Dharma (Righteousness) illumines all the three worlds and a capable son illumines all ancestors.

भावार्थ: शाम को चन्द्रमा प्रकाशित करता है, दिन को सूर्य प्रकाशित करता है, तीनों लोकों को धर्म प्रकाशित करता है और सुपुत्र पूरे कुल को प्रकाशित करता है
