🇮🇳 FACTS ABOUT INDIA 🇮🇳

The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919. A large peaceful crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab to protest against the arrest of pro-Indian independence leaders Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr. Satya Pal. In response to the public gathering, the Anglo-Indian Brigadier R. E. H. Dyer surrounded the protesters with his Gurkha British Indian army units.

The troops kept on firing until their ammunition was exhausted.

According to the Matsya Purana, sage Manu was the first man ( first human) created by Lord Bharma using his divine powers.

He had three daughters, namely Akuti, Devahuti and Prasuti. Devahuti was given in marriage to sage Kardama and she gave birth to nine daughters, and a single son named Kapila.

Vidyāhīnāḥ Na Śobhante Nirgandhāḥ Kiṁśukāḥ Iva।।

Those who are born in a great family and are handsome and young, but do not possess any knowledge, are similar to the beautiful flowers of great breed without any fragrance jasmine without fragrance.
