1. PM Modi yesterday inaugurated the 46th Session of the World Heritage Committee at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. He announed that India will contribute one million dollar to the UNESCO World Heritage Centre.

2. On auspicious occasion of Ashadha Purnima, the Embassy of India in Kathmandu organized a special event to mark Guru Purnima celebration in Nepal. Representatives from various Buddhist sects and monasteries in Nepal participated in this celebration.

3. BSF said that as many as 373 Indian students and three Nepali students crossed over from Bangladesh through the two Integrated Check Posts (ICP) in Tripura. The students are returning back home due to the violent anti-quota stir in Bangladesh since last few days.

4. India cancels 2 trains from Kolkata to Bangladesh amid violent protests: Authorities from the Indian Railways said that the Maitri Express from Kolkata to Dhaka and the Bandhan Express from Kolkata to Khulna, have been cancelled.
