1. Farmers protesting the three contentious farm laws will start holding a stir at Jantar Mantar in Delhi from 22 Jul (Thursday) under heavy security with Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal giving special permission for demonstrations by a maximum of 200 peasants till August 9.

2. Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated across the country with limited number of people offering prayers at mosques amid gathering curbs due to the coronavirus pandemic.

3. The income tax department has granted further relaxation in the electronic filing of forms 15CA and 15CB in view of difficulties reported by taxpayers in the filing of forms online on the new e-filing portal incometax.gov in Taxpayers can now file Form 15 CA and Form 15 CB manually till 15 Aug.

4. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for schools to finalise Class 12 results from July 22 to July 25.

5. The board also announced that Class 12 examinations for private candidates would be held between August 16 & September 15.
