1. PM Modi will embark on a visit to Apulia, Italy today to participate in the G7 Summit to be held on 14th of this month. This will be India’s 11th participation in the G7 Summit and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s fifth consecutive participation in the Summit.

5. India may be finalising a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Oman within the first 100 days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term.
6. Indian universities and higher education institutions will now be allowed to offer admissions twice a year on lines of foreign universities with the University Grants Commission giving a go ahead to the plan, UGC chief Jagadesh Kumar said.
