Historic Achievement and Election Results

Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured 293 seats in the recent general election. Although the BJP alone secured 240 seats, the alliance’s overall majority was bolstered by key allies such as the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janata Dal (United) JD(U), ensuring a stable government.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by over 8,000 guests, including laborers from the Central Vista project, railway staff involved in the Vande Bharat trains, and beneficiaries of various central government schemes, reflecting Modi’s focus on inclusive development. Dignitaries from neighboring countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan were present, though notably absent were representatives from Pakistan and China.

This term is expected to emphasize furthering India’s development agenda while managing a diverse coalition. The inclusion of experienced leaders and new appointees aims to ensure effective governance and address emerging challenges.
