The government has directed telecom operators to block all incoming international spoofed calls that display Indian mobile numbers, The Department of Telecom (DoT) said that it has been reported that fraudsters are making international spoofed calls displaying Indian mobile numbers to Indian citizens and committing cyber-crime and financial frauds.

1. SBI’s Economic Research Unit’s Ecowrap has said in a note that India’s Economy is set to grow by 7.4% in the 4th Quarter of the current fiscal. The Research unit of the Public Sector Bank says, that the GDP of ther Financial Year 24 is likely to touch 8%.

4. Reliance Industries, India’s major refining company, has inked a significant agreement with Russia’s Rosneft. Under this deal, Reliance will purchase at least 3 million barrels of oil per month from Rosneft, paying in Russian roubles.

5. DFC Bank will be stopping SMS alerts for UPI transactions below Rs 100 from June 25, meaning customers will only receive text notifications for transactions above this amount or if they receive more than Rs 500 via UPI. Email alerts for all transactions will continue to be sent.

6. IndiGo on Wednesday announced a special initiative for female passengers to make their travel experience more comfortable. IndiGo’s female passengers will now be able to see which seats are pre-booked by other female flyers at the time of web check-in.
