1. China this week will hold the second conference of its Indian Ocean Region Forum, an initiative to bring together several countries in the region in an attempt to solidify its influence in the strategic waters adjacent to India’s backyard.

2. The CIDCA claimed 19 countries including 🇮🇩Indonesia, 🇵🇰Pakistan, 🇲🇲Myanmar, Sri Lanka🇱🇰, 🇧🇩Bangladesh, 🇲🇻Maldives, 🇳🇵Nepal, 🇦🇫Afghanistan, 🇮🇷Iran, 🇴🇲Oman, South Africa, 🇰🇪Kenya, 🇲🇿Mozambique, 🇹🇿Tanzania, 🇸🇨Seychelles, 🇲🇬Madagascar, 🇲🇺Mauritius, 🇩🇯Djibouti, 🇦🇺Australia took part in the conference.

Australia and Maldives subsequently denied their participation. India was not invited to the meeting.

3. Kenyan president ruto lauds India for advocating permanent seat for africa in G20, amplifying voice of global south.

4. Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni and India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman featured among world’s most powerful women of 2023. While Meloni was listed as world’s fourth most powerful woman by the Forbes, Sitharaman was ranked at 32nd spot.

5. New Delhi is on alert after the U.S.-based Khalistani terrorist, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, issued a threat to blow up India’s New Parliament building.

Pannun has issued threats against India for the third time in three months. In the chilling video, he can be heard vowing to “shake the very foundations of Parliament”, on or before 13 December, the anniversary of the 2001 attack.

6. India has announced immediate relief assistance of one million dollars to Papua New Guinea in the wake of a volcanic eruption.

7. In a key trilateral initiative, India and the United States joined forces to train doctors and health officials from Fiji. India trained doctors and health officials from Fiji under two distinct capacity-building programs in October with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

8. The 52nd anniversary of Maitri Diwas marking the recognition granted to Bangladesh by #India in 1971 celebrated in Dhaka. The High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Pranay Verma inaugurates the celebration.

1.ISRAELI MILITARY RELEASES IMAGE OF TERROR GROUP HAMAS COMMANDERS IT KILLED : The IDF (Israel Defence Forces) revealed never-before-seen photos found in Hamas terror tunnels, including one of five of the most senior figures from its Northern Gaza Brigade killed during the fighting while hiding in the tunnels.

2. Hamas drugged Israeli hostages before freeing them, “to make them look happy,” a Health Ministry official told a Knesset panel.

3. The death toll from the terrorist attack on a passenger bus in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chilas rose to 10.

4. Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Mr Putin is expected to discuss the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, as well as oil production, with the UAE President. The Russian president is also scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia.
