I wish there were a way
I could make you feel what
it feels like to be of service
to others.
For how much longer are we
going to serve our needs and our
close ones’ needs,
we are not animals, and
even animals are perfectly
capable of doing that.
We are humans,
we are born to do more,
we are born to serve ourselves,
others, an entire nation, and
the whole world,
and restricting ourselves to religion,
caste, creed, race, gender or community
would be like a bird in her prime cliffing
off her own feathers and praying upon
death.
So, how much longer will
we segregate ourselves and
not live up to our potential?
