1. Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Monday visited Tesla’s manufacturing facility in California’s Fremont and said that the US electric car maker is on its way to double its components imports from India.

2. Over 5,000 Myanmar nationals have entered Mizoram in India this week. They have taken shelter in Champhai district, joining the approximately 6,000 Myanmar refugees already living in the region. The fighting between the People’s Defence Force and the Myanmar army continues.

3. The Director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory said the launch of the world’s most expensive Earth imaging satellite, which is being jointly developed by India and the US, is expected to happen in the first quarter of 2024.

4. The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Abu Dhabi (IIT-Delhi Abu Dhabi), the international campus of IIT-Delhi, has introduced a new master’s program in Energy Transition and Sustainability (ETS) at Zayed University.

5. Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Sunjay Sudhir, highlighted India’s participation in the Dubai Air Show this year, noting that two indigenous aircrafts Dhurav and the LCA Tejas, were participating in the air display and static display.
