‘Bridge differences’: PM Modi calls for unity at G20, talks to end conflict
Ahead of the G20 summit over the weekend, PM Modi on Sunday called upon members of the all-powerful group to stay united and tackle multiple challenges, underlining that conflicts across regions must be resolved through diplomacy and dialogue, and India will support every effort to ensure peace.

1. The three day long Kathmandu-Kalinga Literary Festival successfully came to an end. This event fulfilled its role in the exchange of culture in the South Asia promoting literary and cultural activities.

2. Kathmandu-Kalinga Literary Festival ends in Lalitpur with participation of poets, writers and novelists from India, 🇧🇹Bhutan, 🇧🇩Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka 🇱🇰 and 🇳🇵Nepal.

3. Geetika Srivastava, currently serving as joint secretary at the headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), will be India’s new chargé d’affaires at its high commission in Islamabad, Pakistan. She will succeed Suresh Kumar.

1. In 🇧🇩Bangladesh, A total of 37 dengue patients died in the last two days, taking the death toll to 634 this year. On September 2, Bangladesh recorded 21 dengue-related deaths, the highest number in a single day this year.
