(a) President, Vice President, PM Modi, and other leaders laud ISRO for successful landing of Chandrayaan 3. The Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO accomplished the task of soft landing of its Lander module, Vikram on Lunar surface.

(b) Yesterday at 6:04 PM, the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission of the indian space research organisation made a successful soft landing. Days after a Russian probe named Luna-25 crashed in the same area, india made history by being the first country to land its Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the Moon’s south pole. a view of the landing of the Chandrayaan-3 lander vikram on the South Pole of the Moon.

(c) On July 14, Chandrayaan-3 was launched. India is the fourth country after the US, China, and russia to have successfully completed a soft landing on the surdata-face of an Earthly natural satellite. After the lander module of India’s third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3.

(d) Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman S Somanath on Wednesday toasted the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, crediting it to the ‘pain and agony’ of all the scientists who persevered on it, and expressed confidence that the space agency would similarly land a spacecraft on Mars in the coming years.

(e) India’s lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 holds immense potential for gathering critical data and will significantly contribute to the understanding of the Moon.

1. TEJAS fighter jet on Wednesday 23rd August 2023 has successfully test fired the ASTRA indigenous Beyond Visual Range (BVR) air-to-air missile. The maiden flight was piloted by Gp. Capt D Mandal and the missile release was successfully carried out from the aircraft at an altitude of about 2000ft off the Coast of Goa.

Simultaneously, the Asan firing range, situated at the juncture of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, has also received the nod for renewal. Both these approvals were sanctioned by the Union Environment ministry’s green panels late last month.
