1. The government has said that the cashless treatment facilities are now available to beneficiaries of Central Government Health Scheme, CGHS at AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, and JIPMER Puducherry.
2. Coal Ministry has received 35 bids for 7th round of commercial coal mine auctions. The 7th round of auctions was launched on 29th March this year for 103 coal mines.
3. RBI fined all four credit bureaus over rule violations, including not maintaining complete and accurate data on credit information. RBI has imposed a monetary penalty of ₹24.75 lakh on Experian Credit Information Company of India, ₹26 lakh on TransUnion CIBIL, ₹24.25 lakh on Equifax Credit Information Services and ₹25.75 lakh on CRIF High Mark Credit Information Services.
4. Adani Group-controlled NDTV’s shareholders have approved the proposals to appoint new directors to the board after Adani Group acquired the media firm. All special resolutions regarding the appointments of—Sanjay Pugalia and Senthil Sinniah Chengalvarayan—as Directors, and UK Sinha and Dipali B Goenka as Independent Directors.
5. World Bank on Tuesday approved a $300 million loan to improve the quality of education in schools run by the Chhattisgarh government. The project will help develop around 600 model composite schools and provide science and commerce education.
