2. China set a new national record on Thursday as it launched 41 satellites into space with a single mission using the Long March 2D rocket, as reported by Xinhua. The rocket took off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre in Shanxi province. The main purpose of these satellites is to provide commercial remote sensing services and undergo related technology verification.
