1. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar took a dig at Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari following his India visit, saying Bilawal spoke about everything except SCO summit for which he was “actually” invited.
2. The National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) completed its flagship capacity building programme for 58th batch of civil servants of Bangladesh, which was attended by 45 officers.
3. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has reacted to India slipping to the 161st position on World Press Freedom Index. “I am amazed at our number. 1. British PM Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty hosted a Coronation Big Lunch at Downing Street on Sunday for community heroes. The lunch was hosted to celebrate the crowning of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The lunch, also attended by US first lady Jill Biden.
2. An angry mob chased and attacked to death a demonstrator in Pakistan’s ultraconservative northwest, after he delivered a speech they deemed blasphemous, police said Sunday.
The incident occurred in the Madran district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which borders Afghanistan.
3. Texas mall shooting: Biden orders to lower US flags at half-mast to honor victims. Biden’s decision came after eight people were killed and at least seven others were injured from the shooting at a shopping mall in Allen.
US President Joe Biden has issued a proclamation honouring the victims of the shooting in Allen, Texas and ordered all US flags at public buildings to be flown at half-staff to honor the victims of the shooting.
