India’s Tiger Population Rises to 3,167, Reveals Latest Census Data
The figures released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi show that the tiger population in India grew from 2,967 in 2018 to at least 3,167 in 2022. The animal’s population in the country has increased by 200 or 6.7 per cent in the past four years.
