a desire to run away,
away from all I know
and away from all I have
is rising
I am looking for an escape
even for a single day
to get in touch with myself,
to get in sync with nature,
oh! how I rejoiced when the sun’s
first ray broke the frozen darkness
of yesterday,
oh! how I rejoiced when I sank
slightingly on mother earth’s lap
when stars showered overhead,
it seems ages have passed
before I was with myself. Just
breathing, just staying, just
being just
