😳 WHY? ❓❓

Why can we see our breath on a cold morning?

The air we breathe out comes from deep inside our warm body, so it is warm and full of invisible water vapour. On a cold morning, as soon as this warm, moist breath meets the chilly outside air, it cools down quickly. Cold air cannot hold as much water vapour as warm air, so the extra vapour condenses into millions of tiny water droplets. These droplets scatter light and appear as a small white cloud — the same way clouds and fog form in the sky. On a warm day, the air around us is warm enough to keep the vapour invisible, so we don’t see our breath.

🧬 HEALTH CARE: HEALTHY HABITS 🩺

Keeping your bones strong

🥛 Eat calcium-rich foods such as milk, curd, paneer, ragi, sesame seeds and green leafy vegetables.

☀️ Spend a little time in the morning sun on most days — sunlight helps the body make vitamin D, which bones need to absorb calcium.

🏃 Do weight-bearing exercise such as brisk walking, climbing stairs, dancing or light strength training to keep bones dense.

🧂 Limit excess salt, too many fizzy colas and alcohol, and avoid smoking, as these can weaken bones.

👵 Women after menopause and older adults should ask a doctor whether they need a bone-density test.

Note: These are general wellness suggestions and do not replace professional medical advice.
