😳 WHY? ❓❓

Why is milk white?

Milk is mostly water, but it carries countless tiny particles — fat globules and clusters of casein protein called micelles. These particles are about the same size as the wavelengths of visible light, so they scatter all colours of light in every direction instead of letting it pass straight through. When all colours are scattered together, our eyes see white. Whole milk looks creamier because it has more fat globules, while skimmed milk, with less fat, can look slightly bluish.
