1. *India delivered a strong message against terrorism at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly* : India has warned at the United Nations that it will continue to exercise its right to defend itself against terrorism, while asserting that friendship and goodwill cannot coexist with support for terror
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also called for accountability for state-sponsored, cross-border terrorism, safer global shipping lanes and a two-state solution to achieve lasting peace in West Asia.
2. 🇦🇪 India–UAE trade cooperation — India and the UAE agreed to pursue initiatives involving local-currency trade, with a shared target of reaching $200 billion in bilateral trade by 2032.
The 14th Meeting of the India-UAE High Level Joint Task Force on Investments (HLJTFI) took place in Mumbai, co-chaired by Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).
3. Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer has confirmed Mahindra Group as its Indian industrial partner for the Indian Air Force’s proposed acquisition of 60 Multi-Role Transport Aircraft.
4. ✈️ India–Mongolia direct flight begins — A new non-stop New Delhi–Ulaanbaatar service has started, reducing travel time between the two capitals to about five hours.
5. US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Monday to pay his respects, amid tight security arrangements around the revered Sikh shrine.The visit was part of Gor’s ongoing tour of various parts of India.

1. An avalanche at Nepal’s Himlung Himal base camp has killed four workers and left eight missing. Rescuers are racing against bad weather and treacherous terrain to find the remaining guides.
2. Thailand floods: Severe flooding in Bangkok has affected about 700,000 people, with authorities working to clear floodwaters after heavy rainfall.
3. At least six civilians have been killed and 53 others wounded in Russian attacks across several Ukrainian cities as fighting continues on the front lines. Ukrainian officials said three people were killed and eight wounded in the Kyiv region, while another three people were killed in a drone strike on an office building in Dnipro. In Kharkiv, a strike on a residential building wounded 38 people, including 10 children.
4. Iran has filed a formal protest with the UN aviation watchdog, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) against US restrictions on Iranian aviation, as Tehran seeks to restore suspended flight routes. Iranian Civil Aviation Organization chief Abuzar Shiroudi talking to country’s state media said the protest, submitted in coordination with Iran’s Foreign Ministry, includes documents detailing disruptions to flights caused by the restrictions.
5. In Nepal, 21 people have been killed, five remain missing and five others have been injured following four days of torrential rainfall, flooding and landslides.
