In the Asian Games, IndiaтАЩs overall medal tally has reached 23, with 2 Gold, 9 Silver and 12 Bronze in Japan. Indian duo Kamaljeet and Suruchi Singh won gold in the mixed team 10m air pistol event in Nagoya, Japan.
2. Vice-President Shri CP Radhakrishnan has congratulated Kamaljeet and Suruchi Inder Singh on winning the Gold Medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the Asian Games 2026.
3. Mizoram emerged champions in the North East Regional Muaythai Championship, with around 350 fighters from across the eight northeastern states competing in 100 categories. Meghalaya finished as first runner-up and Tripura second runner-up in the championship organised by the Mizoram Muaythai Association at R. Dengthuama Hall.
