The Indian shooting team of Rudrankksh Patil, Aishwary Pratap Tomar and Niraj Kumar won the silver medal in the men’s 50 metre rifle three positions team event at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya on Friday.
India scored 1762-94x in the final, finishing behind gold medal winners China, who achieved 1766-95x. South Korea secured the bronze with a score of 1751-87x. India had won gold in this event at the 2022 Asian Games but lost the title to China this year.
This marks India’s 18th medal at the ongoing Asian Games, including one gold, eight silver and nine bronze medals.
