India secured two silver medals in the women’s 10m air rifle event at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Elavenil Valarivan won an individual silver, narrowly missing gold to Japan’s Hinata Taichi. It was Elavenil’s first individual Asian Games medal.
Earlier Elavenil also contributed to a team silver alongside Sonam Uttam Maskar and Asian Games debutant Vidarsa Vinod.
