1. India ended their campaign at stage three of World Archery Para Series in Ahmedabad on a high note winning a total of 15 medals including four gold, three silver and eight bronze. On the final day today, Double Paralympics medallist Harvinder Singh and reigning world champion and world number one Sheetal Devi led the charge as India signed off their campaign on a high, winning two gold and four bronze medals.

Indian athletes are entering the final phase of preparations for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, beginning September 19.
3. 🏏 Women’s cricket: Pratika Rawal has been selected to replace injured Jemimah Rodrigues in India’s women’s squad for the 2026 Asian Games.
4. The Delhi High Court will hear Vinesh Phogat’s plea regarding her participation in the 2026 Senior World Wrestling Championship selection trials.
Phogat is challenging the WFI’s eligibility criteria, which she claims exclude her due to a maternity break. The selection trials for the World Championship are scheduled for September 14 in New Delhi.
5. In Junior Asia Cup Hocky, the Indian Men’s Team today advanced to the semi-finals after a dominant 15-0 victory over Chinese Taipei at Moqi in China.
Defending champions and five-time winners India finished at the top of Pool A with 10 points from three wins and a draw.
