The cast of Tumm Se Tumm Tak produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Studio LSD, recently celebrated a major milestone as the show completed 400 episodes. At the press conference, the actors reflected on their journey and opened up about how their on-screen relationships gradually translated into a close-knit off-screen bond.

Talking about the experience of working together, Vandana Pathak, who plays Gayatri Maa shared, “Initially, whenever a new person joins a team, there is always a little hesitation because you are trying to understand each other. But with us, everyone clicked very quickly. We started having meals together, chatting on set and spending time with each other. Today, it genuinely feels like a family.”

Vandana also recalled some of the most memorable tracks from the show, particularly the early family-centric storyline involving Arya, Anu and Mansi. She said, “The initial family track was very special for me because that was when the bonding between the characters really started. Arya, Anu and Mansi gradually came together, and we could see the family taking shape. Those sequences will always remain memorable.”

Angad Hasija, who plays Yashvardhan, spoke about returning to a character he had played nearly 18 years ago in Bidaai. He shared, “Coming back to a character after almost 18 years was challenging. I had to prepare extensively and even worked on my physical transformation because I wanted to recreate the character in the way the audience remembered him.”

Speaking about the pressure of entering an established show, Angad added, “There was definitely pressure because I was entering a show where the audience was already emotionally connected to the existing characters. But the warmth I received from the team made everything much easier. I never felt like a newcomer. From the very first day, everyone made me feel welcome, and that helped me settle in and build a strong bond with the entire cast.”

Dolly Chawala, who plays Meera, revealed that her initial apprehensions about working with her co-stars disappeared soon after they began interacting. She said, “I was initially intimidated by Sharad Kelkar. Even hearing his voice used to make me nervous! But when I actually interacted with him, that perception completely changed. He is very warm and approachable.”

Dolly also highlighted the contrast between the actors’ on-screen and off-screen personalities, saying, “What you see on screen is very different from how we are with each other behind the scenes. We share a very warm, friendly and comfortable equation, and there is a lot of laughter and fun when the cameras are not rolling.”

Manraj Singh Sharma, who plays Harshvardhan, described his experience on the show as “wonderful”, adding, “Every person in this team brings a different personality, so our bond with each character is also different. That is what makes the team so interesting. The audience’s response has made the journey even more special for all of us.”

Nandani Tiwari, who plays Mansi, gave a glimpse into the fun-filled atmosphere behind the scenes. She shared, “We eat together, gossip together, joke around and have a lot of fun on set. In a way, we have genuinely started living the show even when we are not shooting. I just hope the show continues for a very long time because I want us to keep having these moments together.”

When asked about the funniest member of the team, the cast was quick to name Nasirr Khan. The actors laughed as they spoke about his unexpected one-liners and sense of humour. They also revealed that one of their senior co-stars is surprisingly mischievous, with her playful personality often leaving the younger members of the cast amused and shocked.

From sharing food and gossip to laughing together between takes, the cast’s candid revelations highlighted how Tumm Se Tumm Tak has become much more than just a television show for them.

As the show completes 400 episodes, the actors agreed that the strong bond they have developed away from the cameras has played an important role in making the journey so memorable. “400 episodes is a huge milestone, but what makes it even more special is the people we have shared this journey with. We have created memories, friendships and a bond that goes beyond the show,” the cast concluded.
