In producer Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the episode opens with Arman firmly refusing to apologize for something he hasn’t done. When he questions the consequences of his refusal, Damyanti declares that Disha will leave the house. Manisha immediately counters that if Disha goes, they will follow. As tensions rise, Kajal urges Kaveri to intervene. Kaveri, however, puts Arman in a difficult position—either apologize to Disha by morning or walk away from the family. Hurt and frustrated, Arman questions why no one is willing to trust him for once.
Kaveri then hands Arman a family photograph, asking him to choose between his self-respect and his loved ones. Meanwhile, Abhira considers revealing the truth about Arman’s health to the Poddars, but Arman stops her. He feels Kaveri has already made up her mind and left him with no real choice. Abhira regrets believing the family would stand by him. Arman, masking his pain, admits this isn’t the first time he’s suffered for others’ mistakes. He insists that Abhira keep his condition a secret, as he doesn’t want anyone’s sympathy. Unable to hold back any longer, he breaks down, feeling abandoned and misunderstood, and declares that he no longer considers the Poddars his family.
As Arman and Abhira prepare to leave, they ask Mukti and Myra to come along. The children sense something is wrong, but the couple avoids telling them the truth, not wanting to burden them. Myra tries to stay positive, saying that living in a smaller house might be a new experience.
Before leaving, Disha convinces herself that Rishabh is innocent and believes her decision is necessary to protect him from Arman. During the emotional exit, Arman stumbles, and Abhira supports him. She asks him to take one last look at the house and wonders if they will ever return. Arman, filled with pain, says they never will. Following Kaveri’s ultimatum, they tear the family photograph and walk out, while Kaveri silently watches.
In the precap, Arman and Abhira are seen trying to build a new life with Myra and Mukti. However, their peace is shattered when Myra discovers a newspaper revealing that Kaveri has publicly disowned Arman. Shocked and hurt, Arman questions whether Kaveri’s anger runs so deep that she wants to humiliate him further. Abhira, overwhelmed, walks away in anger.
