1. PM Modi has said, India today represents one of the world’s most attractive for investment, innovation and manufacturing. Mr Modi was addressing the European Round Table for Industry (ERT) at Gothenburg during his two-day visit to Sweden.
2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit in Oslo, Norway, on 18 May 2026. The award is the highest civilian honour of Norway and the highest grade within the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit.

1. National Victory Day commemoration in Sri Lanka scheduled to be held in Battaramulla today. 17 years after Sri Lanka brought an end to the conflict with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), commemorations are being held across the island to mark the conclusion of the nearly three-decade-long civil conflict.
