we are all looking for that
blank page, from where
we can begin fresh, anew,
tearing down the drapes of
tearful embarrassed nights,
walking away from shadows
of killers, and vomiting
the social pill of hypocrisy
when did we become so
different? when did we start
lying to ourselves? When did
we stop fighting for what we
care about?
the truth is a blank page is
magical, it exists but cannot be
found, can be found but not when
wanted,
and only in times of real
need, it shows itself and let us
save ourselves for it is ultimately
us who save ourselves.
