Let’s decorate our homes with real art!

Lets decorate our homes with real art

“Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
-Pablo Picasso

Holding it in my hands, and looking deep into the eyes of The Ganesha craft piece, I realized what we have all been missing in life. There is so much color and vibrancy in this piece. There is so much life in this piece. Perhaps, more than what we walk around.

We live in an expensive mansion decorated by interior designers, we buy shiny, glittery tiles, and we have all arranged trees in the right directions and positions in our home. But are we happy? And does it fill us with positivity and light?

This is our cue and turns to realize what is missing. Indeed, we are trying and living in the most comfortable arena of life. But that does not guarantee guidance and protection from the divine.

We can build buildings with stones and sand. But to make it a home, we must decorate it with our handicrafts. The crafts and paintings are made with utmost love, devotion, and light. The paintings are filled with prayers.

Hard times come in life, in all of our lives. And it is those days, the light we created within ourselves, secedes the darkness that engulfed us.

All these lights are embedded in those little crafts and paintings which we think are inanimate and non-living. All that seems living is not always living and all that seems dead is not really dead.
