शरीरं क्षणं विध्वंसि कल्पान्त स्थायिनो गुणा: । । – Chankya Niti
śarīrasya guṇānāśca dūramantya antaram ।
śarīraṃ kṣaṇaṃ vidhvaṃsi kalpānta sthāyinō guṇā: ।।
Meaning : There is a lot of difference between the human body and its qualities. Because the Human body lives for a short period whereas the Qualities are remembered forever.
भावार्थ : शरीर और गुण इन दोनों में बहुत अन्तर है । शरीर थोड़े ही दिनों का मेहमान होता है जबकि गुण प्रलय काल तक बने रहते हैं ।
