1. China is plans for a massive 120-kilometre undersea high-speed rail tunnel across the Bohai Strait, aiming to connect the coastal cities of Dalian and Yantai in just 40 minutes. The proposed project, known as the Bohai Strait Cross-Sea Channel, represents one of the most ambitious infrastructure concepts under evaluation in the country’s expanding transport network.

1. US President Donald Trump has said the war with Iran is close to over, with authorities in Tehran to agree to a peace deal. In an interview that aired, Mr. Trump said asserted that if he pulled up stakes right now, it would take Tehran 20 years to rebuild the country.
2. United States administration plans to launch a tariff refund system on 20 of this month to return about 166 billion US Dollar to U.S. importers. These tariffs were previously struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court in February.
3. The death toll from Severe Tropical Cyclone Maila in Papua New Guinea (PNG) has risen to 23. Authorities today said twelve additional deaths were reported after the cyclone struck the eastern regions over the weekend.
