Valmiki Ramayana, a theatrical retelling of the epic, was announced today with its first-look poster. The film brings together a group of respected artists across key creative departments.
The team includes cinematographer Binod Pradhan, production designer Sabu Cyril, sound designer Resul Pookutty, writers Anand Neelkanthan, and Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, contributing to the film. The film is directed by Bhavna Talwar.
The first-look poster features the feet of Lord Ram — a quiet symbol of humility, faith, and reverence. The imagery reflects a simple, devotional approach to the story.
Valmiki Ramayana is slated for a theatrical release on 2 October 2026.
