1. The Bihar state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has approved the construction of a new international airport at Sonepur in Saran district. The proposed airport will feature a 4,200-metre runway, making it capable of handling wide-body aircraft, including the Airbus A380.

2. Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda launched the indigenously manufactured Tetanus and Adult Diphtheria (Td) vaccine at CRI Kasauli. IndiaWilll supply 55 lakh doses to the Universal Immunization Programme by April 2026, marking a milestone in self-reliance and 99% vaccine coverage.

5. From April 1, 2026, cash payments will be discontinued at all National Highway toll plazas. NHAI confirms toll payments only via FASTag and UPI to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and ensure transparency across 1,150+ fee plazas.

Giving update on Operation Jwala, Indian Army spokesperson said that infiltration bid foiled on 19th of this month at Nathua Tibba area in Sunderbani sector along the LOC.
