1. PM Modi yesterday inaugurated the Seva Teerth complex in Delhi, which will house his new office. In its very first set of decisions after shifting to Seva Teerth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the PM RAHAT Scheme, doubling the target of Lakhpati Didis to six crores, the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund doubled to two lakh crore rupees and the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 with a corpus of 10 thousand crore rupees.

2. PM Modi will virtually flag off New Electric Buses under the M e-Bus Sewa Scheme at Sector 43 ISBT, Chandigarh.

3. The Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026, organised by the Ministry of Education, concluded in New Delhi today. It brought together an unprecedented gathering of India’s education and technology ecosystem, showcasing AI-enabled innovations.

4. First phase of Budget Session concludes; Both Houses of Parliament to reassemble for second phase on March 9.

5. Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme India and the Gates Foundation, convened a high-level CSR Conclave on the theme Leveraging PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana for Farmer Prosperity in New Delhi.

6. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that India is at the cutting edge of technology and this progress is possible only when both the government and the private sector encourage young innovators.

7. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) launched revamped versions of its TRAI DND and TRAI MySpeed mobile applications in New Delhi. These revamps aim to empower consumers to curb spam communications and accurately assess real-time network performance.

8. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that all recent free trade agreements, whether with the European Union or the United States, have fully protected India’s national interests, with farmers’ welfare placed at the highest priority. He said this while addressing the 64th Convocation of ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi.

9. Vice-Chairman NITI Aayog Suman Bery released the 6th edition of Trade Watch Quarterly” for the 2nd Quarter of Financial Year 2025-26 in New Delhi. The focus of this edition is India’s electronics trade, which has emerged as a key driver of the country’s manufacturing and export transformation.

10. The National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) has realised an amount of 2.40 crore rupees under the Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS) framework in the last 45 days. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change informed that the amount was received for carrying out activities relating to research and commercial use of biological resources, from entities belonging to the seed, animal feed and cosmetic sectors.

11. President Smt. Droupadi Murmu Addresses nationwide campaign on Karmayoga for Empowered Bharat in New Delhi.

12. The Ministry of Women and Child Development will organise a ‘National Conference on Safety of Women at Workplace (SHe-Box)’ at Vigyan Bhawan on February 14, 2026. The conference aims to reinforce the Government’s commitment to ensuring safe, dignified and harassment-free workplaces across sectors and to strengthen implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly has introduced an artificial intelligence-based digital attendance system for Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), aiming to enhance accountability and transparency. Speaker Ch Ayyanna Patrudu announced the reform at the commencement of the Budget Session, marking a significant administrative shift in legislative functioning.

14. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan launches Sthree Suraksha Scheme providing ₹1,000 monthly pension to 10,18,042 women and transwomen aged 35–60. A major step toward gender justice and women empowerment.

15. The ruling Congress in Telangana won a total of 1537 wards in the municipal polls held earlier this week. The main opposition, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), bagged the second place, winning 781 wards, as the counting of votes was held on Friday, Feb 13. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was 336 seats.

16. Tamilnadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday (February 13, 2026) announced a major bonanza for women in poll-bound Tamil Nadu, crediting ₹5,000 each to the bank accounts of 1.31 crore women family heads who are beneficiaries under the scheme,Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam (KMUT).

1. Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda has said that no deaths have been reported due to the consumption of codeine-based cough syrup in the country.

Replying to supplementaries during Question Hour in the Lok Sabha yesterday, Mr Nadda said that whenever any case of death linked to a drug comes to light, the government immediately orders an inspection.

2. The Anti-Evasion Branch of the Central Goods and Services Tax, Delhi South Commissionerate, has arrested the Director of a private limited company for fraudulent availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) amounting to 6.53 crore rupees through bogus invoices of 36.28 crore rupees. The Finance Ministry said that the investigation has revealed that the company had availed inadmissible ITC on the basis of invoices issued by multiple firms.

3. The Punjab government has decided not to adopt the Centre’s Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-AASHA) that ensures remunerative prices for crops and protects them against market volatility.

Under PM-AASHA, the Price Stabilisation Scheme (PSS) involves direct procurement of pulses, oilseeds and copra at MSP to stabilise prices.

At least six people, including four members of a family, were trampled to death by a herd of wild elephants in a village in Jharkhand’s Hazaribag district on Friday when the people tried to flee.

The group of jumbos had been roaming in Bokaro, Ramgarh and Hazaribag districts for the past few days and had earlier caused casualties in Bokaro.

1. The Defence Acquisition Council cleared proposals worth nearly three lakh sixty thousand crore rupees, to enhance the capability of the Armed Forces. The Defence Ministry has informed that Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) was accorded for the procurement of Multi Role Fighter Aircraft (MRFA) Rafale and other military hardware, including Combat Missiles and Air-Ship Based High Altitude Pseudo Satellite for the Indian Air Force.

2. The Indian Army will host the first-ever International Military Adventure Challenge Cup (IMACC) 2026 between the 18th and 23rd of February in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas.

3. The Indian Navy has assumed command of Combined Task Force 154, marking the first time it has led the multinational training task force under the Combined Maritime Forces.

4. Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Director General Paramesh Sivamani inaugurated the Waterjet Production and Testing Facility in Goa.

1. The Reserve Bank of India has issued revised draft norms for the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme, proposing inclusion of expenses on agri-tech initiatives such as soil testing, weather forecasting and organic certification within eligible farm loan components.

2. National Highways toll rates cut: The central government has revised toll charges on National Highways (NH) across the country with effect from February 15, following amendments to the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008 by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). Under the revised rules, when a National Expressway is not operational end-to-end, toll will be levied only on the completed stretch at the lower rate applicable to National Highways.
