Sajid Khan of the legendary composer duo Sajid–Wajid has now officially launched Wasaka, the first-ever event company from the Sajid–Wajid khandan. This new venture marks a fresh chapter for Sajid, dedicated to preserving the timeless essence of the duo’s music while exploring new creative horizons.
Wasaka aims to build a powerful artistic bridge between Bollywood and the Middle East, enabling cross-cultural collaborations, discovering fresh talent, and shaping innovative musical experiences. The initiative also stands as a heartfelt tribute to late Wajid Ali Khan, ensuring his spirit continues to inspire through new-age creativity.
Wasaka’s debut project features the original Sabri Brothers, with a special appearance by Indian Idol sensation Salman Ali. The song blends soulful vocals, Sufi–Qawwali energy, and contemporary emotion, a reflection of Wajid’s musical philosophy.
