1. In Shooting, Asian Championships gold medallist Neeru Dhanda cliched the gold medal in the women’s trap event at the National Championship at Dr Karni Singh Range in Delhi.
(b) Delhi’s Kirti Gupta took silver, while Neeru’s Madhya Pradesh teammate Pragati Dubey won the bronze.
(c) In junior men’s trap, Aryavansh Tyagi won gold, Keshav Chauhan silver, and Zuhair Khan bronze.
(d) In women’s trap team event, Madhya Pradesh took the yellow metal, Delhi won silver, and Punjab bagged the bronze.
(e) In junior men’s trap team event, Haryana claimed gold while in junior women’s trap team event, Delhi won the gold.
2. 17th Junior Roll Ball National Championship commenced at the Mulana Azad Stadium Skating Rink in Jammu. Around 600 players and officials from 26 States and Union Territories are participating in the championship.
3. In Chess, India’s Arjun Erigaisi and Koneru Humpy won the bronze medals in the men’s and women’s sections, respectively, as Magnus Carlsen and Alexandra Goryachkina won the titles in the 2025 FIDE World Rapid & Women’s World Rapid Championships played in Doha, Qatar.
