Indian Railways has that passengers who book unreserved tickets digitally can show the ticket on the same mobile phone used for booking during verification, and a physical printout is not required at present. This clarification comes after media reports claimed that Indian Railways had made it mandatory to carry a printed copy of unreserved train tickets.

The action is part of an ongoing money laundering investigation connected to the illegal online betting platform 1xBet.
6. A Delhi court has extended the National Investigation Agency custody of Dr Bilal Naseer Malla, an accused in the Red Fort blast case, by seven days. In the same proceedings, the court sent Faridabad resident Soyab to five days of judicial custody in connection with the investigation.
