The resolution reflected collective respect for the Ninth Sikh Guru, revered for his supreme sacrifice in defence of truth, religious freedom, and human dignity.

10. The Union Government plans to complete the nationwide rollout of the multi-lane free flow (MLFF) tolling system along with artificial intelligence-based highway management by the end of 2026. The initiative aims to eliminate waiting time at toll plazas and significantly enhance travel efficiency on national highways.

11. Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav has directed authorities to ensure visible improvement in air quality across the Delhi-NCR within one week. He asserted this while chairing the fourth high-level review meeting on air pollution in New Delhi.

12. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the newly constructed integrated terminal building at Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport in Guwahati on 20 December 2025.

1. Indian Railways has that passengers who book unreserved tickets digitally can show the ticket on the same mobile phone used for booking during verification, and a physical printout is not required at present. This clarification comes after media reports claimed that Indian Railways had made it mandatory to carry a printed copy of unreserved train tickets.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached assets worth approximately ₹7.93 crore belonging to several well-known personalities, including former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, actor Sonu Sood, and properties linked to the mother of model and actor Urvashi Rautela. The action is part of an ongoing money laundering investigation connected to the illegal online betting platform 1xBet.

6. A Delhi court has extended the National Investigation Agency custody of Dr Bilal Naseer Malla, an accused in the Red Fort blast case, by seven days. In the same proceedings, the court sent Faridabad resident Soyab to five days of judicial custody in connection with the investigation.

1. India has repeatedly issued and then abruptly cancelled Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) for major missile tests in the Bay of Bengal, sparking intense speculation about strategic motives.The most recent instance involved a vast 3,550 km danger zone notified on 12 December 2025 for activities from 17 to 20 December, stretching eastward from launch sites near Chandipur in Odisha.
