1. In Men’s Cricket, South Africa defeated India by 4 wickets in the second game of the three-match ODI series, at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
Chasing 359 runs to win, South Africa scored 362 for 6 with 4 balls to spare. Aiden Markram was the top scorer with 110 runs, followed by Matthew Breetzke with 68 runs.
2. In Men’s Hockey, India thrashed Switzerland 5-nil to qualify for the quarterfinals of the FIH Junior Hockey World Cup 2025 at Madurai International Hockey Stadium in Tamil Nadu.
3. The Archery Premier League (APL) has been awarded the prestigious Emerging Professional Sports Event of the Year’ at the India Sports Awards 2025, held during FICCI TURF 2025 15th Global Sports Summit at the FICCI Federation House, New Delhi.
4. Rohit Rajpal has been reappointed as captain of the Indian Davis Cup team until 31 December 2026, ensuring continuity in leadership as India prepares for a crucial home Qualifier against the Netherlands in early 2026.
