1. Bharath will celebrate Janjatiya Gaurav Divas today to commemorate the birth anniversary of the freedom fighter and tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

2. National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won a stunning landslide in Bihar, with the governing coalition headed by chief minister Nitish Kumar bagging 202 of 243 assembly seats in a hugely one-sided outcome that underscores the JDU boss’s political resilience despite two decades in office, and PM Narendra Modi’s sway over voters, while deflating the Grand Alliance’s Rahul Gandhi-led campaign against “vote theft”.

(a) Among the prominent winners of BJP are Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, veteran leader Renu Devi, former Union Minister Ram Kripal Yadav, popular Bhojpuri Singer Maithili Thakur and senior leader Mangal Pandey.

(b) Among JDU leaders, State Rural Development Minister Shrawon Kumar, who is the most senior minister in the Nitish Kumar Cabinet, Bihar State JDU President Umesh Singh Kushwaha and Deputy Speaker of Bihar Assembly, Narendra Narayan Yadav are the prominent winners.

(c) RJD leaders and Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and Osama Shahab are the prominent winners in the Opposition camp.

3. In the Assembly by-poll held in eight constituencies spread over 7 States, BJP and Congress have won two seats each. Aam Aadmi Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Mizo National Front and People’s Democratic Party have won one seat each.

(a) In Jharkhand, JMM candidate Somesh Chandra Soren claimed Ghatsila seat.

(b) In Odisha, BJP candidate Jay Dholakia has won the Nuapada seat by huge margin of over 83 thousand votes.

(c) In Telangana, Congress candidate Naveen Yadav V has won Jubilee Hills assembly seat in Hyderabad.

(d) In Rajasthan, Congress candidate Pramod Jain Bhaya has won Anta assembly seat.

(e) In Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu has won Tarn Taran assembly seat.

(f) In Jammu & Kashmir, BJP candidate Devyani Rana has won Nagrota assembly seat and PDP candidate Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi has been declared elected from Budgam seat.

(g) In Mizoram, MNF candidate Dr. R. Lalthangliana has won Dampa seat.

4. PM Modi will be on a day-long visit to Gujarat today. During his visit, the Prime Minister will participate in a programme at Dediapada in Narmada district on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, marking the 150th birth anniversary celebration of legendary tribal leader and freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Mr Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth over 9,700 crore rupees aimed at uplifting tribal communities.

PM Modi, BJP President JP Nadda and Senior BJP leader Amit Shah have thanked the people of Bihar for giving the alliance a historic and unprecedented mandate.

5. The 44th India International Trade Fair-IITF kicked off at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada inaugurated the Trade fair. The theme for this year’s fair is- ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’.

5. Vice President C P Radhakrishnan inaugurated the Rotary Tejas-Wings of Change in New Delhi.

Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh and various other Members of Parliament, former Members and dignitaries paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in New Delhi.

7. Department of Justice has completed the commemoration of Phase 1 of 150 years of National Song Vande Mataram at Jaisalmer House in New Delhi.

8. The Election Commission has informed that over 46 crore enumeration forms have been distributed among electors since the launch of phase two of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive of the electoral roll on the 4th of this month. It is 91 per cent of the total 51 crore electors to be covered in this phase.

9. Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphu Rio has congratulated the NDA on securing the mandate of the people in the Bihar Elections.

10. Indian Telecommunications Service- ITS has completed its 60 years. Addressing the Diamond Jubilee of the Service at a function in New Delhi.

Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh said that India has emerged as the world’s 6th largest patent filer with over 64 thousand patents, out of which more than 55 per cent are by resident Indian innovators. Addressing the Annual Tech Fest in New Delhi, Dr Singh highlighted that the country has climbed up from 81st rank to 38th in the Global Innovation Index.

12. Meghalaya has moved to ease its fiscal space and streamline recruitment processes with a set of key cabinet decisions. The state government has approved amendments to its fiscal framework, relaxed deficit limits in line with central norms, and introduced provisions favouring regular casual workers in lower-grade posts.

13. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will jointly organise the CSIR–ISRO Space Meet 2025 on 17th November 2025 at Hotel Radisson Blu Atria, Bangalore.The event aims to strengthen cooperation between India’s premier scientific and space institutions in advancing human spaceflight research.

14. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is expanding its interplanetary vision beyond the successful Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission.Having achieved a historic landing at the Moon’s south pole in August 2023, the agency is now preparing for landmark ventures to Venus and Mars.ISRO chairman Dr V. Narayanan said.

15. India Meteorological Department has forecast cold wave conditions at places over Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh till 16th of this month.

1. The probe agencies investigating the Delhi blast and its roots in UP have uncovered a plot in which the Jaish-e-Mohammad-linked terror module, allegedly comprising Dr Shaheen Ansari, Dr Parvez Ansari and others, was planning coordinated explosions in six cities on December 6, the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition in 1992.

2. The residential house of Dr. Umar Nabi, whom security agencies identified as the one who drove an explosive-laden car on November 10 at Red Fort, was demolished by using explosives during the intervening night of November 13-14 in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

3. The Supreme Court has directed the Jharkhand government to notify 31,468.25 hectares of the Saranda Game Sanctuary as the Saranda Wildlife Sanctuary within 90 days. The order aims to protect one of India’s most intact sal forests while ensuring that the rights of tribal communities inhabiting the region remain secure.

1. Ministry of Defence has signed a significant ₹2,095 crore deal with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for the procurement of INVAR Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs). These advanced missiles will enhance the combat capability of T-90 main battle tanks, boosting India’s deterrence and operational edge.

2. India’s indigenous defence innovation ecosystem marked another milestone as Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace (FWDA) received the silver medal at the 23rd ARCA International Exhibition of Innovation 2025, held in Zagreb, Croatia.

3. A Pilatus PC-7 MK-II basic trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near Tambaram in Chennai’s Chengalpattu district on Friday afternoon. The aircraft was on a routine training sortie when the incident occurred.According to official sources, the lone pilot on board managed to eject in time and landed safely, escaping with minor injuries.
