1. Afghan FM Invites Indian Investment, Amritsar–Kabul Flights to Resume: Afghanistan’s foreign has invited India to invest in Afghanistan’s mineral sector and both countries have decided to start direct flights between Amritsar and Kabul.
2. India will resume international postal services to the United States from today. In a release, the Ministry of Communications said that India Post has now established a compliant mechanism for Delivery Duty Paid processing after extensive system development and coordination with the US Customs and Border Protection.
3. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold a meeting with the Vice President of Brazil Geraldo Alckmin in New Delhi.
4. Google has announced a massively investment of 15 billion US dollars over the next five years to establish one gigawatt-scale Artificial Intelligence hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This is the company’s largest AI hub centre outside the United States.
5. Chinese Yuan Wang 5 Returns to Indian Ocean Amid India’s Extended Missile Test NOTAM: Just as India issued an expanded NOTAM for a hypersonic missile test on 15th October, China’s Yuan Wang 5 missile and satellite tracking vessel has entered the Indian Ocean.
6. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa met with PM Modi yesterday, Diplomatic relations between India and Mongolia were established in 1955. Over the past seven decades, the two countries have developed a close and multifaceted partnership, anchored in shared cultural and spiritual links and democratic values.
7. India is reinforcing its position as a global technology and electronics powerhouse at GITEX Global Dubai 2025, with the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) leading a strong delegation of 100 Indian companies. The India Pavilion with 237 companies is spread across multiple thematic halls, highlighting the country’s growing capabilities in electronics manufacturing, innovation, and ICT exports.

A delegation of Hindus and Sikhs from Afghanistan who sought refuge in India to escape religious persecution, and for personal safety, over different periods of time met Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi at the Afghanistan Embassy on Monday. The members proposed to return to Afghanistan only if the Taliban regime assured their safety and protection of properties and religious places.

1. The Supreme Court of Nepal resumed registration of writ petitions from Tuesday for the first time after arson of September 9 when SC building was torched. On the first day, more than seven writ petitions against dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) were received.
2. The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will stay closed today and the flow of aid into the Palestinian enclave will be reduced.
3. In Bangladesh, at least 16 people were killed and several injured after a fire broke out at a chemical godown and a garment factory in Mirpur area of the capital Dhaka on Tuesday.

7. Nearly 8 lakh 90 thousand people have been affected by floods in South Sudan. Widespread flooding in the country has killed 19 people so far.
8. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has identified three adulterated cough syrups manufactured in India, including the Coldrif cough syrup. It has warned that the identified syrups could cause severe and potentially life-threatening illnesses
