Harman Baweja

Actor-producer Harman Baweja, who heads Baweja Studios, has always believed in the power of technology to transform storytelling. Known for backing content-driven and innovative projects, Harman was among the first to explore animation in Indian cinema with Chaar Sahibzaade, which became one of the country’s most successful animated films.

With the recent success of Mahavatar Narsimha India’s biggest animated mythological film the conversation around animation in cinema has once again taken centre stage. The film has crossed ₹450 crore globally and has been widely praised for blending mythology with cutting-edge visuals.

Reacting to its success, Harman shared,
“I’m genuinely thrilled to see what Mahavatar Narsimha has achieved. We made Chaar Sahibzaade almost a decade ago when animation wasn’t considered mainstream. Seeing a film like this find such massive acceptance proves that the audience is ready for innovation. It’s a big moment for Indian cinema.”

Having earlier produced the hit animated series Super Super V in collaboration with Virat Kohli, Baweja has consistently championed new formats and storytelling mediums. For him, animation represents more than just visual spectacle it marks the next chapter of creative storytelling.

“Animation is no longer the future it’s the present,” Harman added. “It gives us the freedom to reimagine our stories, our mythology, and our heroes in ways we never could before. The possibilities are endless if we use the medium with purpose and heart.”

As Baweja Studios continues to develop a diverse slate including Haq starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi Bhagwat Chapter 1 starring Jitendra Kumar and Arshad Warsi, and Dil Ka Darwaza Khol Darling with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Wamiqa Gabbi Harman remains committed to storytelling that blends emotion, innovation, and imagination.
