13. The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (MahaMetro) has announced that the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) will inspect a stretch of the Pune Metro in February, and clearances are expected in March.
This line features India’s deepest underground station, which will be ready in a few months at the Civil Court and measures 33.1 metres (108.59 feet) in depth.
14. JEE Main 2023 Admit Card: The NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 Admit Card for session 1. The JEE Main 2023 Exam is going to be held from 24th January 2023.

3. Over 46 leaders and cadres from the All Adivasi National Liberation Army (AANLA) in Assam handed over their weapons on Sunday, four months after signing a peace accord with the government
4. A special team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday reached the Narwal area of Jammu and inspected the site where two blasts took place on Saturday. NIA officials inspected the blast scene for over an hour and collected samples to investigate the case.
5. Three persons were charred to death when their car caught fire after ramming into a tree in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur districtdistrict.

1. Adani subsidiary Agneya Systems Ltd will hold a 56% stake and Armaco JSC 44 % in Armada Defence Systems. The JV, Armada Defence Systems, intends to make products for the Indian Army.
2. Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri said India will achieve 20% ethanol blending in petrol by 2025.
3. Canara Bank said it plans to sell its stake in Russian Joint Venture(JV) Commercial Indo Bank LLC (CIBL) to the other venture partner State Bank of India (SBI) for about Rs 114 crore. CIBL, incorporated in 2003, is a joint venture in Russia between SBI (60 per cent) and Canara Bank (40%)

1. Army Seeks 200 Man-portable Drone Jammers for use by troops in the field. The system will be effective against drones by jamming control, communication uplink as well as downlink, data and Global Navigation Satellite System links.
2. The Garud Special Forces of the Indian Air Force will be marching on the Kartavya Path during this year’s Republic Day parade for the first time.
Squadron Leader PS Jaitawat will be leading the Garud team as part of the IAF contingent and Squadron Leader Sindhu Reddy will be the contingent commander.
3. The Indian Navy is set to commission the fifth Kalvari class submarine VAGIR today.
(a) It has been built indigenously, under Indian Navy’s Project-75, at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited in Mumbai.
(b) It got its name from INS Vagir – a Vela-class submarine from Russia that served in the Navy from 1973 to 2001.
(c) The submarine, also called ‘Sand Shark’, was delivered to the Indian Navy on December 20 last year.
4. PM Modi to name 21 islands of Andaman & Nicobar after Param Vir Chakra awardees to mark the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose today.
5. The largest biennial tri-Services amphibious exercise AMPHEX 2023 was conducted near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh from 17 – 22 Jan 23.
The joint operations conducted during the exercise saw participation by a large number of troops from Indian Army, amphibious warships from Indian Navy and aircraft from the Indian Air Force.
