3. The 12th World Para Athletics Championship 2025 will begin today in New Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The nine-day championship will feature a total of 186 medal events. These include 101 for men, 84 for women, and one mixed event, covering sprint finishes to endurance races.
4. Sheetal Devi and Sarita have become the first Indian pair to reach the women’s compound open doubles final at the World Archery Para Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. With this, India has ensured four medals at the championships.
5. India’s Jonathan Gavin Antony Wins Gold in Men’s 10m Air Pistol at ISSF Junior World Cup at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.
6. India U-17 men’s football team secured a 3-0 victory over Nepal in the semi-final of the SAFF U-17 Championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This win ensures their place in the final, where they will face Bangladesh, who earlier triumphed 2-0 over Pakistan.
7. Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Ahmedabad will host the 11th Asian Aquatics Championship from 28th September to 11th October 2025, marking the first time the event is being held in India.
