1. In Washington, the Indian Embassy has released an emergency assistance number for Indian nationals in need of immediate support following the US President Trump’s announcement of annual fee of 100,000 dollors on H-1B visa applications. In a social media post the Indian embassy has said that Indian nationals seeking emergency assistance may call cell number +1-202-550-9931 and WhatsApp.

2. Tesla Group has entered into a strategic $1 billion partnership with UK-based SRAM & MRAM Group to establish large-scale electric vehicle (EV) battery production plants in India and several other countries. The agreement marks a major expansion of Tesla’s battery manufacturing footprint into emerging global markets.

3. Germany pushes A-400M Export Hub Offer to India: During the recent visit of German defense minister, the German delegation pitched the Airbus A400M Atlas to the Indian Air Force under India’s $10 billion medium transport aircraft program and even floated export opportunities to Asia and Africa.

4. India has expressed concern following Saudi Arabia’s announcement of a mutual defence pact with Pakistan, signed earlier this week. New Delhi urged Riyadh to remain mindful of “mutual interests and sensitivities,” underscoring the growing strategic ties between India and the kingdom.

5. Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal will be visiting the United States with a delegation on today.

6. Pakistani Fatah-1 Rocket Found Near Dal Lake, Nowhere Near Srinagar Airbase: During a routine cleanup drive, officials from the Dal Lake Conservation and Management Authority discovered remnants of a Pakistani Fatah-1 series rocket. The same type rocket that Pakistan army claimed was used to destroy the Srinagar air base.

1. United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia have formally recognized the State of Palestine.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced in a video statement that the United Kingdom is formally recognising the State of Palestine, describing the move as a step toward reviving hope for peace and a two-state solution.

2. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to attend the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York where he will also join a select group of Muslim leaders in a meeting with US President Donald Trump, marking his first direct engagement with him since assuming office in January.

3. Afghan officials have sharply rejected US threats to reclaim Bagram Air Base, emphasising that any attempt to reestablish a foreign military presence would be met with unyielding resistance.

4. In the USA, a man died and several others were injured when a gunman entered the club and fired several shots at Nashua in New Hampshire.
